Demonstration campaigns were carried out at Regional Research Laboratory(RRL) (Bhubneshwar) to revalidate the data generated in earlier campaigns.National Metallurgical Laboratory (Jamshedpur), and Hindustan Zinc Limited,(Udaipur), continued their R&D efforts to improve the yields. Development of process for extraction of Cobalt and Nickel from sulphide solution is in progress at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Design of a 500 Kg/day semi-continuous demonstration plant, is being taken up.
